Thanks, Tengku Abdul Rahman is a wise man with compassion. In comparison, LKY is arrogant, self serving and lacks compassion for fellow human beings. That make him no better than an animal

LKY didn't realise that to be feared, he must have something to control the other person. To be loved, it comes out of gladness. Now that he is 91 and in such a morbid state, no one has to fear him. In fact many has sympathy for him

These are the traits found in politicians of which LKY is a very capable and successful one. In Singapore, the people (most) admire and worship the man and just fall a little short of labelling LKY "Our beloved leader." He has the support of the media, the military, the business circles, the judiciary, all the civil institutions, even the unions. Some even attribute Singapore's financial success to him.

Sad if he really got what he wanted. The fear factor is almost all gone but not much love will remain. Some gratitude from the older generation maybe but little else.
