Re: WP Team to Challege LHL?

Look at PM Lee Hsien Loong's CV. He is a real elite. Only he and his descendants are fit to rule over us.

Lee studied at Nanyang Primary School and received his secondary education at Catholic High School, before going on to National Junior College (where he learned the clarinet under the tutelage of Adjunct Associate Professor Ho Hwee Long). In 1971, he was awarded a President's Scholarship and Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship by the Public Service Commission to study Mathematics at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. He was Senior Wrangler in 1973,[3][4] and graduated in 1974 with first class honours in mathematics and a Diploma in Computer Science (with distinction). In 1980, he completed a Master of Public Administration at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Military career[edit]
Lee joined the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in 1971. In 1978, he attended the United States Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth. Lee rose quickly through the ranks in the Singapore Army, becoming the youngest brigadier-general in Singaporean history after his promotion in July 1983. Notably, he was put in command of the rescue operations following the Sentosa Cable Car Disaster. Lee left the SAF in 1984 to pursue civilian politics.[5]

If he is that intelligent, why some of his policies are so dumb which make him unpopular in his own country but a darling to foreign countries?

Re: WP Team to Challege LHL?

...we should all just rally round PM Lee Hsien Loong and his family. He and his family are the true elites. We won't go wrong supporting them.

....unless sinkies are willing to come under the subjugation of foreigners like the story of "Planet of the Apes" and sinkies are no longer in control of sinkie land.

Snap back to reality: OP, what did the flyer say? That WP will definitely contest in AMK? Which candidates? When is their first walkabout? Either LTK took the "daring" pill or he's bluffing.

Re: WP Team to Challege LHL?

AMK GRC isn't a particular stronghold for pap other than it being the pm GRC. A ragtag team from RP managed to get 30% during ge11 and that the base support for opposition there which is about the national average. There should be another 30% to 40% swing voters and if opposition can send a good team there, getting above 40% isn't difficult.

However AMK being PM GRC means more are at stake and middleground voters might opt to play safe even if opposition send an A'team. Which is the reason why I rather opposition send their A'team elsewhere where voters can vote without such hesitation. After all losing a minister is no big deal than losing a PM.

Considering the PM is a clown. Getting rid of him might force the change in pap tat is needed.
