Malaysia edging towards war with Indonesia

Malaysia has begun to dismantle the foundations of a lighthouse that it tried to build in disputed waters off the Kalimantan coast, the Indonesian Navy's (Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Laut, or TNI-AL) corporate communications chief Admiral Manahan Simorangkir confirmed to local media on 17 October.

Tensions between Indonesia and Malaysia emerged in May 2014 after Malaysia attempted to construct the lighthouse near Tanjung Datu, West Kalimantan, in waters claimed by both countries. Indonesia said that the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) dispatched a warship to accompany the civilian vessels involved in the construction work.

The TNI-AL had stated that it would deploy three vessels - Kakap-class offshore patrol vessel KRI Barakuda , Todak-class guided missile attack craft KRI Lemadang , and Kapitan Pattimura (Parchim I)-class corvette KRI Sutedi Senoputra - to waters off West Kalimantan as an interim measure while it established a new naval base there. It is, however, not known if these deployments occurred.

No need to worry so much. If both want to go to war with each other, both need to get in-principal approval from China first.

Look, Russia is already a colony of China and Vietnam is supplied with Russian subs to counter Pinoyland's aggression. If Malaysia and Indonesia go to war, Vietnam will invade Malaysia and as usual Thailand will play neutral and let anyone overrun its countryside to attack Malaysia. Indonesia is the next colony of China, so China will side Indonesia. But of course, China will like Malaysia to continue sleeping and lose more planes and pretend to be in USA's sphere of influence. Don't believe what I said? Nevermind..........The whole South China Sea is already in China's pocket. Resistance is futile.

This water is off the coast of sipadan sabah which the tribunal awarded the island to Malaysia. So the boundary along the coast probably changed in accordance with maritime law, which Indonesia did not accept. Petronas wants to explore the area for oil and gas but was thwarted by indon navy. The faster they settle this, the better. Preferably through the hague or arbitration unlike china which anyhow claim anything they like.
