this is another school to avoid if you want to study for par-time degree courses.

auston institute of management

http://www.auston.edu.sg/about-us/

it used to be in middle road first campus. they have fast tracked degree courses part-time, 1 year can get australia degree already and the system is faulty where got so easy get degree. their staff and lecturers are all ang kong kia, lecturers dont even have a basic PhD how to teach bachelor degree courses. and they even had an ipo listed in stock exchange here and its then that they got into trouble when auditing as a listed company. finally their management got charged and all staff disbanded and lecturers fired. they have caused all graduates their money and reputations by having a degree certificate with their smelly name on it! they should compensate their graduates for what they have done! even now when auston is resurrected under new management, better to avoid it because the name is still the same. and if you're student, better check your school does not employ those former lecturers from auston in middle road from the year 1996 to 2006; their reputations are tarnished already and they may hide their past associations with auston to start again a career in your school. beware.

go to unisim a definitely reputable university funded by our government, lectureres qualified and high standard because not many can score first class honours degree after 3 to 4 years of study. but be sure to apply for unisim programmes and not sim overseas university programs those are distance learning more expensive and not govt funded.

I thought everyone should have already known that Auston is a scam educational institution, not unlike the many other 'approved by MOE' private schools which were hastily set up to cash in on the 'burgeoning growth' of the 'education hub' that is Singapore.

When private schools fail (2009)

IN THE past two weeks alone, another two private schools went bust, leaving their students, mostly foreigners, in the lurch. A total of 11 private schools have shut down since January last year, affecting hundreds of students.
The Consumers Association of Singapore (Case) says it expects more to follow suit within the next few months.
