In the print edition of TODAY, Big Nose Teo credited him with the breaking of the loan shark menace.
BUT this has been deleted from the on-line version.

What a big slap and back-handed compliment from the equally incompetent DPM to his Police Chief.

Isn't it same as all PAPigs be it MP or ministar joining to earn the super doper salaries and perks for doing little... many can't even earn a fraction of their last drawn salary once dumped like Mah MT, George Yeo, Raymond Lim, Yeo CT.... ad infinitum

What salaries were Yaacob n Halimah earning before they became PAPigs? Abt 15% of what they are now earning...

It is a demotion for the guy after that fiasco in Little India rioting. It is LHL's way of telling him he is useless in heading the SPF, not tough enough to whack the ah nehs.

The post of CP is a prestigious job and carries with it a certain status in INTERPOL. The post in PUB is a pen pusher, a backroom kind of guy, no status. As the CP, he got every mata mata to salute him and even if he committed a traffic violation, the mata mata would see no violation.

He had to give his parting shot, a shot to save face from booted out by the PM. Who does not want to be a CP and gets chauffeured around with a car plate of CP 1?

The DPM is still sleeping in his ivory tower.

Since when has the illegal loan sharking been broken up? These sharks are now more brazen than ever in committing crimes against innocent sinkies. They could not collect the debts from the debtors and instead, the neighbours and other innocent sinkies became their targets of harassment. Please lah, do what is right to eradicate loan sharks.

Send them to detention under the CLTP and lock them up for minimum 5 years. Charge them in court and these sharks get discount from the jail term imposed. Treat such loan sharking as triad activities and it can be eradicated if the paps are serious about eradication.

If PUB can be operated by an incompetent person or a person with record of incompetence, why bother to fill that position and pay good money for lousy mgmt/srvice???????????????????????????????????
