Dear The Real Singapore,

Recently I went for coffee with my supplier and I know that he is a womanizer that frequent freelance prositutes and he shares with us his 'adventure' while we are having coffee.

I was shocked to hear from him that many PRC girls come here to 'study English' but in actual fact most of them came here to work as freelance prostitutes or social escort even during the day! Their age ranges from 17-26 and most of them don't even have the intention of coming Singapore to actually study.

What exactly is ICA doing to allow so many of them to fake their way into Singapore to work as freelance prostitutes. I have family in Australia and I know it is impossible for PRC girls to be able to get a visa in Australia this way as they are very strict especially with Chinese immigrants. I hope ICA can do a better job.

Anyway, my supplier told me that day he was just near my house at Admirity near my block to meet a freelance 'student' prositute just a few blocks away from where I live. She told him that the house she is living is being used as a brothel to service clients. I do not believe him at first but after he showed me the website that he frequently use, www.fateinsg.com I was shocked that the government is doing so little in prevent these illegal freelancers.

Apparently these PRC girls operate their business throughout the entire Singapore from the north to the south to the east and west. Anywhere you want, they have it. Most of them are actually renting houses in HDB and didn't tell the flat owners that they are actually free lance prositutes and not actually students here to study English.
To be frank if they do their business at the red light area I really don't care that much but definitely not in the residential are.
I don't wish Singapore one day will become another China Dongguan or Thailand Pattaya.

Worse of all, I don't want to hear stories of Singaporeans getting AIDS from these freelancers because these freelancers are not being regulated unlike the licensed prositutes where they must go for regular health checks. Some of them might have already infected 1000 Singaporeans with HIV and gone back to China without even the government knowing.
I hope ICA can really do something about that website and arrest these PRC 'students'.

Oh definitely. And WeChat is their favorite chat app to facilitate their trade. They want to 'make friends' with you.

Online shopping is gaining popularity in recent years, this is the same thing, except that the transacted commodity is sex.

Don't expect the pappy gov to do anything to them. If SG Pools starts running a brothel then we may see some Parliament 'debates' about the need to outlaw 'remote prostitution'.

A policy of multiculturalism that facilitates the entry to Australia of unskilled young women, ostensibly for purposes of study, or to enter into sham marriages, or even as employees in businesses where they will not work, leaves them open to exploitation and debasement.

MIGRATION agents registered by the federal government are helping to run illegal prostitution rackets across Melbourne.
Up to six migration agents have worked with the mostly Asian syndicates running prostitution rackets in Melbourne and Sydney.
One of the agents involved in the sex industry in Melbourne helps to find Asian women, including those on student visas, to work as prostitutes in four different CBD apartments.
Migration agents are registered by the federal government and have powers to help people get visas and deal with the Immigration Department. They are meant to be governed by a strict code of conduct.

These are real talents who help bring down the overall cost of chionging, provide more varieties, patterns and most importantly, help fill a labour crunch as locals shun these jobs. All fulfil the categories of what the Garment has been proclaiming.

Aiyah,..no big deal,...Singapore now has sooooo many 24-hour spas, owned, managed by China-origin proprietors,...this is legal business here,...the old days of massage health centres, have been displaced by them China-owned spas.
Singapore authorities simply close 2eyes to this vice

Background[edit]

Marina Bay Sands was one of two winning proposals for Singapore's first integrated resorts, the other being the Resorts World Sentosa, which incorporates Universal Studios Theme Park. The two resorts aimed to meet Singapore's economic and tourism objectives, and have 30-year casino licenses, exclusively for the first ten years.
Bidders were assessed based on four criteria,

  • tourism appeal and contribution
  • architectural concept and design
  • development investment
  • strength of the consortium and partners

The infinity edge swimming pool in the Skypark.

On 27 May 2006, Las Vegas Sands (LVS) was declared as the winner to develop the Marina Bay site in the prime new business district of Marina South. LVS highlighted its forte in Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing, Exhibitions (MICE). LVS's founder Sheldon Adelson is a pioneer in Las Vegas and the key to his early business success.[SUP][3][/SUP] In the Design Evaluation portion of the tender, a panel of local and international architects commended Sands' design as superior to other bids in terms of pedestrian circulation and layout, and it also fit in with the Marina Bay landscape best. They liked that the hotel towers were set back from the waterfront to open up expansive views of the city and the entire Marina Bay, making the skyline for Singapore's downtown more attractive and distinctive.[SUP][4][/SUP] Construction of the property commenced in early 2007 and was expected to be completed by 2009.

I don't think online sports betting has much of an impact on high end casino revenues. Maybe slots or blackjack. Sheldon is a worrywort. There is absolutely nothing to worry about.

On the other hand there is the state run tote board. Its odds are so in favour of the house that its monopolistic position cannot afford to be weakened. That would only allow incorrigable gamblers to have more money to punt with! We cannot have that.

The draw of online poker games, she said, is they are much faster – compared with approximately only 10 hands in an hour for actual games, online players get up to 30 seconds each to act – and available round the clock. “I don’t play at the high-stakes tables anyway, it’s just a fun thing to do,” she added.

The lure of poker tournaments, which are unavailable at the two casinos here, is another factor, said another poker fan, who is planning to open a bank account in Johor Baru and get a Malaysian credit card to slip through the cracks.

“You get to play against people from so many different countries, it’s more exciting,” said the 38-year-old, who has gone to Genting and cruise ships to take part in poker tournaments.

Apart from the prize money, a golden ticket to larger-scale poker tournaments – such as the World Series of Poker, which has been held in Las Vegas annually between June and November since 1970 – sometimes awaits the winner, he added.
