Reason = Rising living cost, out of control housing prices, go back kampong to relax is better (salary cannot keep up with costs).

with exception of the vice trade, many ah tiongs not keen to work in Singapore anymore. first is rising cost of living here, the strength of RMB is stronger over the years and china paying better wages than before. Many first came when S$1 to RMB 6, now only RMB 4.85.
