How can we stop age discrimination at our workplace?

Nowadays a lot of employers are more willing to hire younger workers than older ones. What can we do after retirement?

So if you really want to keep your job even after retirement and still earn a comfortable living, companies are now given incentives to do so! This is a good move to help us stay long in our jobs IF we choose to.

Isn't it good that we have a choice of whether we want to retire or not?

This follows recommendations made by the Tripartite Committee on Employability of Older Workers (Tricom). It comprises representatives from the unions, employers and the Government. Vote the fucking PAP out, stupid. The labour laws enacted by the PAP are so weak that any company can hire cheap FTs to replace older sinkies. From the looks at how negative your outlook is on any policy being implemented, or anything done for Singapore, it seems like there's a more deep rooted anger in you coming from somewhere. You need to look into what is the underlying cause of your anger.

The honorable Mr Lee Kuan Yew is more than 90 years old and he's still being retained as an MP despite his poor physical condition.

This proves beyond doubt that there is no age discrimination in Singapore. If there was he would have been forced out of office a long time ago.
