PAP MP Intan from Ang Mo Kio GRC appears to have gone into internet hiding, setting her Facebook profile to private, changing her profile picture, cover page and completely ignoring netizens' questions about her earlier statements about not knowing PRC Cheat Yang Yin personally.
Previously, MP Intan was put in the spotlight as she had told the media that Yang Yin did not hold any position in the grassroots and she knew he volunteers sometimes but she didn't know him personally. She also defended people like him. (PAP MP Intan defends Grassroots leaders like Yang Yin saying they do "good work")
However, more evidence since then has seemed to indicate otherwise. MP Intan was seen in multiple photographs standing right next to Yang Yin and meeting notes showed that he attended small meetings with her present. Since then, there were also revelations that MP Intan had written to ICA about Yang Yin previously and netizens had pointed out that it would be impossible for her not to know him personally if she had done this.
Netizens who continued to ask her questions about Yang Yin on her facebook were also promptly banned and their comments deleted:
However, her silence on the issues has not helped at all with more and more netizens getting suspicious due to her refusal to address the issues openly:

What kind of Politician sets their social media accounts to private and hides from their residents?
Isn't the public supposed to see the good work that they do and be able to communicate with them openly? How can residents' interest be represented in parliament when she just blocks the concerned netizens?
To many matters worse, she also rode into parliament on the coattails of PM Lee to land a good job getting paid $15k a month at taxpayers' expense.

The papee leadership should have taken action to remove this useless MP from her post in view of her lies exposed by the netizens. This type of rubbish MP is not good for the papees' image if it seeks to show sinkies it is a party with honourable members.

A PAP supporter has turned up to defend Ang Mo Kio GRC MP Intan Mokhtar on the MP’s Facebook page.
Earlier, in a thread on MP Intan’s Facebook page, netizens have been asking her if she has indeed supported the PR application of PRC tour guide Yang Yin [Link].
Yang used to serve in MP Intan’s constituency as a grassroots member. MP Intan earlier told the media that Mr Yang had helped foreigners in Ang Mo Kio GRC to integrate into Singapore society (‘MP Intan: Yang helps foreigners to integrate into SG‘). She said she did not know Mr Yang personally and that he was one of many grassroots leaders in her constituency.
Allegations that Yang manipulated an 87-year-old widow, Chung Khin Chun, to give him control over her $40 million assets have made world news recently (‘SGs riled over manipulation of rich widow by PRC man‘).
Till today (22 Sep), MP Intan has not replied to the questions asked if she has supported Yang’s PR application.
Instead, a PAP supporter by the name of Jack Lin came to her defence yesterday (21 Sep):

It’s not known if the current Jack Lin defending MP Intan is the same YPAP grassroots leader who served in Joo Chiat SMC in 2010.
In 2010, a Mr Jack Lin, who was the General Secretary of Joo Chiat Youth Executive Committee, sparked an outcry among netizens by calling Singaporeans “3rd class citizens” on the YPAP Facebook. Complaints were then made to then MP Chan Soo Sen.
After the complaints were made, Mr Lin made a public apology for his offending statements (‘Mr Jack Lin became the 1st YPAP leader to apologise to Singaporeans for making offensive remarks about them‘).
At the time, MP Chan said that the remarks were made in the personal capacity of Mr Lin and therefore, they should not be associated with the YEC or YPAP. In any case, MP Chan said he had “communicated” with him who had expressed his “regret” in making the offending statement on the YPAP Facebook (‘PAP MP Chan Soo Sen: Jack Lin’s remarks should not be “associated” with YPAP‘).
“It was not his (Jack Lin’s) intention to make these statements as a Joo Chiat grassroots leader and youth activist, or as a member of PAP Joo Chiat Branch and YP Joo Chiat Branch. He regretted his use of the PAP Facebook to make the statement, as this made it difficult for others to dissociate him from his status as a grassroots leader and party member,” said Mr Chan.
