They were born four years apart and lived in different countries, but the siblings were close.
On Saturday, both were involved in a serious accident while riding on a motorcycle together.
The siblings, Trismond Tang, 16, and Ivon Tang, 20 were on their way to buy lunch when they were hit by a car at the junction between Bukit Batok East Avenue 6 and Bukit Batok Street 23. The impact caused them to be flung from their motorbike.
According to Shin Min Daily News, Trismond's left leg was so severely injured that it may require amputation.
His father, who only wanted to be known as Mr Tang, 46, a chef, told Shin Min that Trismond's leg was run over by another car after he was thrown off his bike.
His daughter suffered from head injuries and has not regained consciousness.
