Here is the press release from the Singapore Police Force:
Police officers reject bribery attempt
Police have arrested two men, aged 40 and 44, for an offence of Affray on 31 August at about 4.40pm and the latter for also attempting to bribe two Police Officers.
Police responded to a case of fighting in the vicinity of Kim Chuan Road. The officers, Voluntary Special Constable (VSC) Corporal Jeremy Koh and Special Constable (SC) Sergeant Allan Tay, spotted both suspects and proceeded to interview them.
During the interview, the 44-year-old suspect attempted to bribe the officers by offering them two unopened packets of cigarettes. The bribe was flatly rejected by the officers. The 44-year-old suspect was then placed under arrest for the offences of affray and attempting to bribe the Police Officers, while the other suspect was arrested for Affray.
Both suspects will be charged in Court on 2 September 2014 for Affray under Section 267B of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year, or a fine which may extend to $5,000, or with both. The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) will also be investigating the 44-year-old suspect for attempting to bribe the Police Officers.
Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police Lian Ghim Hua, Commander of Ang Mo Kio Police Division, commended both officers for their integrity in rejecting the bribe. He added, "Their act is a testament to the high level of integrity in the Singapore Police Force."

What a cheapskate this fella is trying to bribe a police officer with just 2 packets of cigarettes which were likely to be contraband anyway. Did he think he was in Pinoyland where you can bribe the police with 1 stick of ciggies and a 2 bars of choclate?

Notice something wrong with this article from the Prostitute Press? No mention is made of the names of the 2 men arrested, but the names of the 2 police officers are prominently mentioned in the article. What does that tell u? The men arrested must be FTs, and the mention of their names would have identified them as such. Probably 2 PRC FTs forgot this is not china anymore and cannot suka suka do China SOP 2 pack ciggies. they must be fresh off the boat, here the going rate is 2 cartons lah. No wonder they got arrested for insulting the policemen with such a cheap bribe.

walao 2 packs of ciggie wanna bribe polis? really siao

Mata mata already known as "runaway" mata mata to everyone in sinkieland. They are downgraded to "see no up" mata mata and the briber thought they are good for only 2 cartons of cigs.
