They can tolerate living in shoebox apartments, but if you take their freedom away, they will give you hell!

Hongkong should have stayed under Ang Moh rule. Everyone was happy.

Jesus is Angmoh meh?

Looks Ang Mo here. I've seen pictures where he was depicted as an Oriental, South-Asian, and Afro, as well, but can't find them.

The policies are decided in Beijing and not in Central Hong Kong.

Hongkees should protest in Beijing or Guangzhou and not in Central.

Really? Henry Fok certainly wasn't happy. A building he owned near TST harbour front had it's water and electricity cut off 'cos it was used for CCP propaganda activities. Forced to sell at below market price. Ronnie Chan of Hang Lung keeps reminding people that under the British there was actually less press freedom because editor will get a phone call if what you write is deemed not conducive to continued Ang Moh supremacy despite their idiocy.

By the way, there is already Occupy Central once every Sunday by the foreigners thanks to the incompetence of the British administration. It all started in the 90s or even earlier. So what's the big deal if they have Occupy Central by locals for a noble cause like true universal suffrage (no GRCs, gerrymandering, etc please)!

That's right. If they could choose whether to remain under British rule or be ruled by the communist scumbags after 1997, there's no doubt which they would have chosen. Even the Taiwanese would much rather be ruled by the Japanese than by communist scumbags from China.

This particular policy has impact only in HK. Besides its one country two systems. Therefore it makes good sense to protest in Central.

Besides, aim of the protest is to bring about change not to get arrested and be maltreated in mainland jails like the petitioners from provinces who naively went to Beijing to air their grievances in accordance with PRC "law".

Many oldies in this forum seem to be nostalgic for days of forced expulsion from Federation to satisfy Old Fart's ego. In that case, those Sinkies who protested in Red Dot against policies decided in KL should not have done so but should have gone to KL to do it?

Present day Sinkie policies are decided where? At Hong Lim arh?
