Ms Ellen Lee, who is expected to replace Ms Lee Bee Wah as the president of the Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA), says she has no plans to change the sport association’s policy on using foreign-born paddlers to represent Singapore.

“For anyone to do well in anything, competition is necessary,” the Straits Times quoted her as saying. “We need to have the foreign talents to provide that competition… and motivate Singaporeans to rise to the occasion.”

Ms Ellen Lee, who has been a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Sembawang Group Representation Constituency since 2006, and a lawyer with Ramdas & Wong, will be assisted by fellow MP Alex Yam who is also the STTA’s choice as vice president, if she takes up the top post in the STTA.

They are already in sinkieland and that is why uncle shan is worried there will not be enough jobs for local born sinkies coming back home from overseas universities after graduation.

His reason is simple. No jobs for locals, locals will not return. Foreign lawyers will "pau" the legal profession and one day, these foreign lawyers will bite the arse of the paps.

There was discussion here on whether pap will lose to opp and by when. To me, if they continue with their white paper, they will lose everything to these aliens, not the opp. They have brought in the most extreme breeds from Asia and they think that they will have the capability to contain them. To me, it is a sure route to self destruction.

The only time mass immigration has been tried was when the territory was virgin. The PAP are not stupid. They have a game plan but the grand scheme is firstly political and only secondly economic. They think they are smart but they have got things badly wrong in the past. When they get it wrong it is the people who suffer not them. Thats why they can be so bold.
GCT talk about the loss of trust between the government and the people as though it is the people's fault. Line up the cabinet and look at each one in turn. Who would you trust based on what they say and do ?
