why the same Tiger beer sold in Vietnam and Thailand cost so much cheaper than in our own sinkie land...many other similar products so much cheaper in neighbour countries..:p

Price discrimination is practiced everywhere with every company. But SG is the only country as far as I know that disposes of its national assets, heritage, icon, brands, etc. Its as if the top brass of SG felt they didn't mean a thing and sold them off for a song.

Talk about selling one's own mother for a song.

Another retard writing without using brains. There are restrictive covenants placed on the sale and any buyer would have to abide by these covenants and also statutory rules on National Monuments.
It does not make amdifference who owns it.
Please use your brains before blaming PAP for everything.

In the early 90's, the CEO of S'pore's biggest infrastructure contractor confidentially told me that the govt was going all out to build infrastructure to accommodate 5.6m population.

On that tip I made a bundle on property.

She bought US banks at end of 2007. At a time when many lay people were already catching on to the idea that a major credit crisis was brewing and it would not be restricted to subprime.

When the contagion spread, no sound no picture no motion from her.

How can anybody sell all these icons unless they are " elected" to power-ultimately the blame falls on the 60% about 45% of whom stay in overpriced pigeon holes (called HDB flats) .
