Stomper Chris witnessed a commotion at Boon Lay market today (Aug 9) at around 9am between two Mercedes drivers.

The Stomper said one of the drivers, a lady driver, had grazed the vehicle parked beside hers and demanded compensation from the other Mercedes driver who had parked his vehicle in front of hers.
The Stomper said:

"I saw this commotion today (Aug 9) at Boon Lay market at around 9am.

"It all started when the lady driver of one of the Mercedes cars tried to drive out of the parking lot.

"Another Mercedes was, however, parked in front of her vehicle and because of the tight space, her vehicle brushed against a black Honda parked beside her car.

"She then refused to move her vehicle and demanded that the man who was driving the other Mercedes grant her compensation.

"Basically, she was blaming the other Mercedes driver for parking in such a way which she said caused her to graze the Honda when exiting the parking space.

"This commotion went on for about 10 minutes, and traffic was obstructed during that time.

"Her car seemed fine, but there were some scratches on the Honda car. So, I think she was asking for compensation because of the damage to the Honda car.

"If I'm not mistaken, the man seen shouting in the video is a random passerby who was trying to help the lady Mercedes driver.

"Both Mercedes drivers drove off and parked their cars somewhere else after, and I'm not sure if any compensation was given."

so many mercs because increase in the gap between the money made by the top earners and the low income workers.
tis is one reason y things are expensive.
when cost of something increase by 1% , the business man take opportunity to increase by 5%.

If the income gap has widened, the fault lies with the low income earners. You cannot expect the top echelons to hold back just so the bottom rung can catch up. That would be ridiculous.

Life is a race and in order for any society to move forward, the slower participants have to learn to go faster in order to keep up with the leaders of the pack. If the best are held back, everybody loses.

that depends on on what ground , and how do the top earners increased their pay ?

if factory produces more goods the owner make more $.
more goods is because got more orders. tis is fine and ok.
business by its very nature has the elements of deceit , unscrupulousness.
especially so in the financial business.
u get an idea if u take the case of mcdonald meat supplier in china , the subprime crisis in usa and many others.

No amount of shining metal can cover the ugliness of some singaporean.

Monetary wealthy but spiritually poor!!
