I've never believed all the PAP hype. When Spores populations was smaller the PAP could get away with running the place on auto. There were enough middle managers in the system that could make decisions. to avoid the worst cockups.
I can still remember a time when there were no breakdowns maybe because things were run by Sporeans
The only cockups were usually associated with large organisations like the SAF. The PAP must be crazy if they think they can have a population of 10 million when they can't even run the place properly with the current population.
Sporeans have the gov't that they deserve. It will be interesting to see how they will vote in the next GE, now that they know about the PAP's population targets, keeping the people's CPF, constant breakdowns, ponding, dengue,...
