I agree with their policy but they should be far more selective regarding who they let in.
One of their arguments is that there are few public toilets in China and even if there are, they are so dirty that no one would use them.
However, do you do what you usually do in your own house when you visit the houses of others? I put it down to the lack of civic consciousness. They don't seem to understand that everyone has a responsibility to maintain a shared public environment so that everyone can enjoy it.
