I think that JR Tolkien's estate will be suing prata man for copyright infringement soon. He thinks he is an apuneh Hobbit. Well, he has the same short height, the same appetite for food, and the same hairy stinky feet. He should be called Nathan the Hobbit from now on. I wonder whether the NLB will ban this pagan book about a Tamil Hobbit too?

SINGAPORE - A Tamil-language version of former President S R Nathan's memoirs was launched at the Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple in Little India on Saturday morning. The translation of the English publication - first released in 2011 and titled "An Unexpected Journey: Path to the Presidency" - was a result of a year-long effort undertaken by Mr A Palaniappan, the Head Specialist (English/Tamil) at the Language Services Department in Parliament. The event was attended by more than 300 guests, which included Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam. Tamil Murasu, the Tamil-language daily of Singapore Press Holdings, sponsored the translating and publishing costs, as a gift for the Tamil community. - See more at: http://www.straitstimes.com/news/si...moirs-now-tamil-20140712#sthash.ykbdhAgo.dpuf

Really a waste of money, time and effort. I have yet to come across a single Singapore who cannot read and write English. I actually met Eurasian lady of Portuguese / Malacca extract that could read English at all. Really taken aback. She explained that she never went to school.

Nothing to do with what language it is in. How many people are actually interested in the life story of that fat fuck?!

I'm willing to bet that more people would read a book written by the notorious Samuel Leong about his life of vice and sleaze.

Definitely unexpected.

No one would have ever thought a prata-man turned war-traitor can be a president.

I would like to think that it was an unexpected journey. But than Old Goat was also a traitor turned PM. SO, maybe these journeys are not so unexpected after all. After all, he was the second choice apuneh after devan.

No need lah, her family is wealthy so during the war, just go off somewhere else quiet and wait it out.
