True, why is LKY still a MP but not seen to perform duties of MP? Unlike Mahathir in Malaysia, when he left politics, he truly gave up his MP post.
LKY is remembered for his contributions to sinkapoo before and after independence but why is he still hanging on to his MP post? To break the Guinness record for being the oldest MP in the world?
ISD got better things to do. Holding an event to criticise PM is not an act of subversion against the country unless ISD considers the organisers as communist sympathisers. There are already more communists from China living and working in this country than you can find their local sympathisers.
