Workers' Party MP Lee Li Lian gives birth to a girl called Karys

Worker's Party MP Lee Li Lian, 35, gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday morning.

SINGAPORE - Worker's Party MP Lee Li Lian, 35, gave birth to a girl on Tuesday morning.

The new mother shared pictures of her first child, Karys Koh, on her Facebook page hours after the delivery.

Karys was born at Mount Alvernia Hospital, weighing in at 3.02kg. Like Ms Lee, she was born in the year of the Horse.

On Facebook, Ms Lee, the MP for Punggol East, wrote in Mandarin: "After going through an unstable pregnancy, enduring frequent pregnancy rash, and after nine months of waiting, we finally welcomed our daughter's arrival today!"

Glenda Han also gave birth a few months ago. WP is helping with the birth rates by setting examples since PAP was useless in solving the problem. That's a constructive opposition.

Instead of helping the poor, she spends time makes babies after winning her seat thereby showing just how self centered she is. So much for dedication. :rolleyes:

Now she's a mother it will mean even more time spent looking after the brat and less time to spare doing what she was elected for.

On the other hand PAP MPs put Singaporeans before themselves.

I do not understand why pts need to b given to ah lian as she have baby. Having baby is a personal affair and if cannot afford dont have...tin pot ling no kids also not anyone else's problem..its better that the pappies dont breed..as that means another parachuted cost tail mp in the future...n please the world is crowded enough..dont need Singkies to add to the problem.
