This article (link below) mentions "Singapore’s average monthly wage of $4,998 last year". I dunno if this figure is supposed to be the mean, median or mode, but I recall reading another article or survey (last year?) which stated the average monthly wage/salary/income for Singaporeans was approx $3k. Does anyone know what the average monthly wage / salary / income for Singaporeans is? And even more telling would be comparing the mean vs median vs mode values (if these are even available in the 1st place).

According to Salary.sg, "Last year’s median income was $52,300. This year, it is $53,000" which works out to be $4.4k monthly (including year end bonuses).
