How can a super duper fit man just have heart attacks?
He was pumping fit and not a single fat on him wher he was ultimate warrior.

Does this mean....all the years of being super fit when young.....counts for nothing at later stage of life?

An autopsy has determined that WWE legend Ultimate Warrior died from a massive heart attack last Tuesday (08.04.14).

The 54-year-old iconic grappler - real name James Hellwig - passed away last Tuesday (08.04.14), just three days after he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in New Orleans, Louisiana, and an autopsy has determined that he died as a result of "Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease."

Officials told gossip website TMZ.com that the medical examiner, who conducted the autopsy, classified his death as "natural," meaning no drugs or alcohol were directly involved.

The 'RAW' star was rushed to hospital after suffering the heart attack while walking with his wife outside a hotel in Arizona, but he never regained consciousness.

Tributes poured in from the wrestling world following his sudden death.

WWE owner Vince McMahon wrote on Twitter: "We are all so sad that the Ultimate Warrior has passed away. Our heart is with his wife Dana and his two daughters."

Fellow WWE icon Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson tweeted: "Loss always has a way of reminding us to live and love as greatly as we can. My prayers and strength to his family. RIP Ultimate Warrior."

High-dose steroids. Many bodybuilders, wrestlers and powerlifters have died prematurely from steroid and drug abuse.

Men in their late 20s and early 30s who abuse steroids are dying from serious heart disease, a NSW study has revealed.

But researchers say increasing numbers of steroid users in Australia are oblivious to the severe health risks linked to performance-enhancing drugs, including cardiovascular disease, reproductive failure, liver damage and high levels of aggression.

''The irony is that steroid users are often health-oriented, but they're using a drug that is damaging their bodies to the point it could kill,'' says study leader Shane Darke, a professor at the national drug and alcohol research centre at University of NSW.The study examined 24 deaths in NSW men aged 22 to 48 over the past 17 years where steroids were found in the system of the person who had died.

Nearly all men - most employed as personal trainers, body builders and security guards - showed obvious signs of chronic steroid abuse, including overdeveloped muscles and shrunken, scarred testicles.

''These men are doing major damage to their hearts and are substantially increasing their risk of death,'' Professor Darke said. ''For a very young group in their early 30s, their cardiac health looks like what you would expect of someone twice their age.''
He said more than half the men analysed had shrunken testicles, which is likely to impair the reproductive system.

While steroids were not the direct cause of death, 62.5 per cent of men died from taking toxic amounts of steroids together with other illicit drugs - including cocaine and methamphetamine - either alone or in combination with heart disease. More than half had serious heart disease, including thickened arteries and damaged heart muscles.

About a quarter of deaths were caused by suicide or homicide, said Professor Darke, which links long-term steroid use with an increased risk of aggressive and violent behaviour.

''The idea of 'roid rage' works in both ways,'' he says. ''They can be raging against themselves - or others. It might be helpful for steroid users to realise that mood swings, paranoia and suicidal thoughts are probably coming from steroids.''
Jamie Close, a 42-year-old personal trainer, stopped taking steroids after health practitioners warned he had early signs of liver damage and adrenal exhaustion.

He began using steroids at 28 while running a gym at Brighton Le Sands, increasing the use from weekly to once-a-day injections.
''I didn't have any idea about the health risks. I was a bit naive.''

Professor Darke said this analysis provided a glimpse into the ''hidden'' world of steroid use.

Fate plays a part too. A healthier man can die of sudden illness, accident than someone sick.

There is NO WAY any one can train to have a body like that without using steroids

You're right. All the WWE wrestlers cycle on high-dose anabolic steroids and testosterone.

[h=1]The Ultimate Warrior Cause Of Death Revealed As Heart Attack[/h]

According to a report from TMZ, The Ultimate Warrior passed away last Tuesday due to a massive heart attack.
The medical examiner that conducted the autopsy determined that Warrior died of Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease,” which means heart disease. The report goes on to state that Warrior’s death was “natural” meaning there were no alcohol or drugs in his system. He was 54 years old.

While Warrior didn’t have any alcohol or drugs in his system at the time of his death, he was known as somebody that used steroids during his career. You don’t get a physique like Warrior’s naturally.

In their 2002 book about the WWF, “Sex, Lies and Headlocks,” journalists Mike Mooneyham and Shaun Assael wrote that “behind his back the Boys called him Anabolic Warrior for all the steroids it took to gain him his superhuman frame.” In 1992, Warrior was fired by WWE in part because of his steroid use. Canadian chemist Mauro Di Pasquale had proof that Warrior was using steroids in September of ’92. He then successfully persuaded McMahon to release Warrior due to the heat on him by the United States federal government.

When Warrior spoke on Raw last week about how everybody breaths their last breath, a lot of fans thought that he knew something was wrong. It’s hard to know if that’s true or not, but chances are even if he did feel sick nobody expected something so tragic to happen after his three day return to WWE.

Warrior’s life will be honored by WWE during tonight’s episode of Raw. Warrior’s death has hit a lot of people hard within WWE, most likely Vince McMahon more than anybody, so it’s going to be an emotional show.

The entire three hour episode of Raw isn’t going to be all about Warrior, but there will be tributes to him all night long. It should be another must see edition of Raw especially if you’re a fan of the Ultimate Warrior.

There's a price to pay for over stressing the limitation of your physical body.
What we've made to believe during NS about "enduring" and "Mind over body" will kill us one day if we don't listen to our body.
