Today I was glad that I am free from any contract with the telcos. I went to M1 to get a replacement SIM card for one of those mini SIM cards for my new handphone. I was told that I would have to pay $37 for the card:eek:

Since I was under no contract & still angry with M1's previous service disruptions I told them no thanks I will just switch telcos:biggrin:
They then changed their tune & told me since I was a long time customer, they would waive the fee:rolleyes:

If this is an example of how a GLC treats their customers I will vote with my $ & go elsewhere.

All the telcos are GLCs, some more than others.

In LOS I can get a brand new SIM card with some credit for 99 baht($4) & here they expect me to pay $37:mad:
When they screw up, we are suppose to forgive & forget.

Really fed up with these GLCs. I have already cut the cable with Starhub & gotten a Roku box. Next I intend to get rid of my account with M1 & simply get one of those prepaid cards.

cupertina, march 26 2014 - appie, a cupertina-based knock-off of the fruit company, will be releasing the ifoneu sex very soon. the ifoneu sex is specially designed for sammyboy members who are addicted to porn and sex. the previous model, ifoneu 4 fuck, didn't take off as it is too short to hold and it's battery duration is too short for an enjoyable lasting session, plus the lack of holdover time in the midst of a robust vibration which leads to an anti-climatic shutdown. and it prematurely gets wet for no reason. the ifoneu 6, oops i mean to say "sex", will mitigate and overcum all the shortcummings of the ifoneu 4 fuck. prospective sammyboy buyers of the new model should be pleased. and the cumpany is not resting on its laurels. it is already working on the next gen model, the ifoneu 4 69. :p

In Malaysia you can get a SIM card for $3 & for $9 you can get a SIM card with credit.

All these examples show why Spore GLCs cannot succeed outside Spore, Without the protection of the PAP they cannot exist.

I just bought a new Samsung tab 3 lite at Rm699 over the weekend, they cut the sim card for me foc no need to get a new one. I intend to sell away my Sony xperia phone as this tab 3 with 7" screen can make phone calls too..the Samsung very good to use, come with two year warranty from SenQ...

Lots of promotions now on older Samsung phones because they have released their newer 2014 models. 2 years warranty is pretty good. Apple only gives 1 year.

I keep at least 1 older handphone as standby in case my latest phone breaks down. Unfortunately with the newer SIM formats I won't be able to do this because my trusty Nokia uses a full size SIM, while the newer iPhone uses one of those smaller SIM cards.

You can always use a SIM card adapter.

Just bought for my wife an AINOL N900 3G smartphone at the recent IT SHOW 2014 at MBS for S$188. Its outlook is similar to the SAMSUNG GALAXY Note 3. Free accessories include flip cover, bluetooth earpiece, extra battery, screen protector and a 20,000mAH powerbank.

The Chipset is from Mediatek (Taiwan) and CPU is MT6582 (Quad Core) at 1.3GHz. ANTUTU score indicated 17,100, Memory is 4GB, including 1GB RAM, ANDROID 4.2.2, Google Store included, 8Mpixel rear camera, 2Mpixel front camera, FM radio, dual SIM, 5.7" AMOLED screen, GPS, etc.

I think it's value for money and after about 2 weeks, I returned to the same shop to buy a similar set for myself to replace my aging HTC X7500.

No it is a new model in 2014 but lowest end model with no front camera and back camera only 2M. But it suits my budget and most important has phone function... Samsung only give one year warranty , the plus one year is given by SenQ, the retailer (something like Best denki in Spore), but must pay membership fee of Rm20 per year...

Does AINOL produce a phone with 6.0" screen or slightly bigger?

I bought from SenQ, you can buy from any of their outlets in Malaysia, all same price. They have outlets in Aeon Tebrau, Aeon Bukit Indah or Sutera Mall. I checked the model number on the box is T111 product name is Samsung Galaxy tab 3 Lite. I just googled T211 is tab 3, without the Lite. I think tab 3 without Lite is higher end with front camera, also saw it selling at SenQ at Rm899...
http://www.senq.com.my/outlets/

Oh just recall you can also buy from those small retail shops outside, SenQ price is standard pricing but give the extra one year warranty. I saw one shop at Tesco Bukit Indah (don't know the shop name but it is next to the food court) selling the tab 3 lite at Rm699 but with free cover and screen protector. Without the freebies can get at Rm660 with one year warranty...but in case got problem, better buy from the big retailers in Malaysia..
