SINGAPORE - Nanyang Siang Pau reported that a man in Singapore spent $52,000 to celebrate the end of his six-year marriage.

Six friends joined Jeremiah Teh, 44, in the celebration at a karaoke outlet where he spent $47,000.

He had earlier splurged $5,000 on his friends at a French restaurant.

He also blew out six candles on a cake with the words "Freedom Finally" to signal the end of his marriage.

"The sum is not much. If you work out the amount, it's about $10,000 for each year of suffering," said Teh.

He said he had attended a friend's divorce party on a yacht three years ago, adding that he found it relaxing and fun.

"It is worth celebrating after a failed marriage."

That's fantastic. Now he must learn his lesson and avoid marriage like the plague.

There is no 'right woman', there is no soulmate. Marriage is a business contract, with poor contract terms for the man.

You'll be surprised at how many well-to-do and famous men, even after getting a divorce, remarries again and again. They're like a moth flying back to the candle flame, a dog returning to its own vomit.

Rupert Murdoch is one. John Cleese is another.

blame all on the Bible.

You have a gay man Paul who was against bigamy. The bible did not say he is married so he is single and likely a gay. he brought Mark with him, a young boy on his 3 years to adventure to find out about Jesus.

Imagine he cannot get the story of Jesus from the Apostles, and had to spend 3 years walking everywhere to find bit and pieces of Jesus story?

This was in NT The Act. Look for the chapter about Paul meet up with James and Peter after Paul returned to Jeruselm. Paul said he knew about Jesus form his 3 years walking and finding out Jesus story and entitled to be the 13th apostle. It is a joke to Peter and James and what was said the NT about Jesus in Mark, Matthew and Luke was all hearsay. Is it a joke?

Look at Paul Galatians Chap 1 where he says his story of Jesus was true and the other story be cursed.

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Furthermore, the Apostles give face to Paul adding Paul blinded on the way to destroy Jesus people and blinded for 3 days which was not true. If it true Paul would have told you so in one of his 13 Epitles letters.
