Christmas Markets

Germany is the home of the biggest and oldest markets. The history of the traditional Weihnachtsmarkt goes back to the late middle ages.

Start with this rare one, 2hours from Frankfart.

Erfurt - the only one not destroyed in WWII

To buy authentic things, try to get wooden gifts, watch out for this logo.

One of the oldest is the Dresden Christmas market, which dates back to 1434.

Austria is another country that is worth visiting for their Christmas markets. Vienna and Innsbruck are two must visit places. Innsbruck has always been one of my must visit city in Europe together with Roevanemi in Finland.

pretty boring place ... :o

Little tigress and myself love those quiet quiet, slow slow places. Maybe the hectic life in Singapore and Vietnam took its toll on us. Thats why when planning our Lijiang trip, we decided to stay in SHUHE instead of LIJIANG
