PM encouraged Police "NOT TO HEED" online criticism about their actions

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Tuesday morning heard first hand from 38 Home Team officers who were the first responders in the Dec 8 Little India riot.

Over breakfast at Rochor Neighbourhood Police Centre, Mr Lee spent more than an hour listening to their accounts, including of projectiles being thrown at them as they did their rescue work and crowd control.

He thanked them for performing their duty with courage and collectedness, and encouraged them not to heed some of the online criticism about their actions.

The officers he met included those from Police Special Operations Command, Traffic Police, and Tanglin and Central Police Divisions. Among them were six women officers who were at the frontline as well as several full-time national servicemen.

Mr Lee later presented them with gifts of mango cheese tarts and took a group photograph with them.

Mango cheese tart looks like from google: YELLOW.... colour of Cowards...

it was n xtremely dangerous situation ... rioters were mad n crazy ... dey were armed wif plastic botols, stones, paper cups n so on ...

despite ze life-threatening situation, ze polis/scof/auxillary polis had shown gr8 courage 2 cum out from ze safety of hiding in n ambulans n ran thru a whole mob of rioters ...

What sort of a Prime Minister is this??? PLEASE ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTION!? supporters & detractors, ask yourself now!. The only thing luck of that incident, that no civilians lives or properties were burnt...like the May 13, 1969 riots at Petaling Street Kuala Lumpur!. The only thing, we were lucky that, when the clips fell off...the trains did not crash & lives were lost...WE WERE LUCKY..can we count on being LUCKY?

This prove to one & all, that they do not listen to you, us or.....if we continue to have this kind of people running this nation.....soon we were run out of luck. Aren't they ashamed that the POLICE RAN!???

Are we going to ask ourselves , we have this PM & .... ARE YOU FEELING LUCKY!

hard to comprehend that such statement is from the PM himself...the more one watches the clip of those mata in UNIFORM running away and letting their cars going up in flames just make you feel so ashamed to be a sporean .....i guess many ex-SPF members may well want to hide their uniform under their bed as well...

my next guess will be many of these ***holes ah nehs will just get away with a fine+deportation....no jail, no caning....
