Looks like China have a grander plan then people realise.. Cheque book diplomacy.
By hook or by crook apparently they're trying to buy their way into Malaysia.

Najib 1MDB together with the Johor sultan intention to develop Johor is allowing cash rich China to make a play for Johor.. They'll make it work regardless.

Yes, now I am beginning to see that the PRC developers are landbanking now with their insider info abt China's intention. They will have the last laughs and naysayers like our famous Troll go suck thumbs.

The Land and Sea Silk roads had just been launched. And what exactly are Silk Roads? They are actually Free Trade Agreements in Asia.
It is China version of EU or Nafta in US. That's why you see China participating in the recent ASEAN Summit. I can see long term global factories and businesses from China in Malaysia as well as vice versa (actually it is already happening now).

just another ignorant fool

You are the ignorant one, first make comments and when people ask you for proof you just wiggle like a snake and run.

Now you make comments like this on JB market, by making this comment you are just confirming that the property market in JB truly is dead with oversupply, in most developed property markets any signs of PRCs flooding the market means negative things, including lowering the price of the area and bad upkeep of the properties, they are not wanted but you are celebrating. Really, really ignorant and clutching at straws in desperation.

Congrats. Docklands too has a very nice marina. One room apartment should be in the range of AUD 500k.

Ok. So it is not Docklands. It is outskirts of St Kilda.

I am too poor to invest in Melbourne.
Rich people like you not welcomed to PH. Only meant for poor people like myself.

Not too many people know that there are already special economic HUGE industrial parks between China and Malaysia. They are all targetting Malaysia as launching pad for Asean market and many other markets eg Middle East or where direct China export is not encouraged.
Malaysia is a favored visa destination by China. I have visitors from China who said it is very easy to get visa to come to Malaysia. But if they apply visa to go to Indonesia or even to Europe, it is very difficult. Of course tourist groups are different. Come Feb. 2016, electronic visa between the two countries would be implemented. So you can see where the relationship is heading.

China has too much interest in MY now and they have to protect it, a recent episode clearly shows that.
The Red Shirts were planning a provocative rally to cause trouble in Chinatown.
On the eve of that planned rally, the Chinese ambassador paid a visit to Chinatown to say hello to the business people there, giving out mooncakes and made an impromptu goodwill speech to "warn off" the rally.
The Red Shirts publicly praised by the PM and everyone knows who sponsored them.
The rally was subsequently "cancelled" and an ugly event was foiled.
