Allegations are flying over the mysterious shutdown of the Australian Secret Intelligence Service’s website, with one Indonesian IT authority saying Anonymous’ Indonesian arm successfully crashed the site.
The hack comes after Anonymous Australia threatened action against Anonymous Indonesia for its efforts to mount a cyber-assault on Australian businesses after revelations that Australia was using its Indonesia embassy as base for spying on its neighbour.
Anonymous Australia urged its Indonesian counterpart to instead focus its efforts on government departments.
