AVA did not state when their chums tried to cull the dog, it would not be muzzled by staff and "needed sedation for procedures that required more handling", said AVA. The dog was eventually put down on Oct 7, hence fulfilling the 'standard protocol'.
The event drew angered responses from the online community, saying adopter Ang Moh Alison McElwee was trying to be funny but refused to return the puppy to the rehomer, from whom it was adopted, before putting it down. AVA assures that the Kangaroo Court will go all out if an Asiatic owner is involved.
The AVA hinted that Ang Mohs like McElwee pay more taxes, hence she has the right to butcher any dogs with assistance from dodgy Asiatic vets who are paid handsomely, compared to crass Cantonese who simply eat dogs for fun. It is a subtle warning that netizens who try to make things difficult for McElwee will be culled next.
