In many countries where so-called parliamentary democracy is practised, there will be a group of politicians who will lie dormant and only sprout to life just before an election. Time for them to make some money, even if they lose deposit.

RP or WP is all the same. Nothing they can do to our beloved PAP.

Like it or not, humans equate to success and successful platforms esp in Singapore.

For WP retaining most of its people isn't a surprise. Who wouldn't want to stand a higher chance next time. This was not the case in 2006 when a number resigned after WP still won 1 seat. They can include jokers like GMS or Gomez, it is a fact that WP fielded them.

How many people from PAP left? That answers the question.

I wouldn't say it's just RP, SDA also. SPP are only biding their time. Even NSP is struggling to find a new sec-gen. For SDP, it because they have 2 nucleuses, 1 high profile candidates and the other 1 are the non-fielded activists. That is why most candidates left and they still have some numbers, mostly the Tak Boleh Tahan guys.
