Mr Deng Xiaoping quotes the old Sichuan saying 'It doesn't matter whether it is a white cat or a black cat, a cat that catches mouse is a good cat.'"[16] This Deng quote was later remembered in both China and foreign countries as being about black cats and white cats.

Mr Deng's quote was complimenting his wife for her amazing ability, dearing and lovely personality and able to catch a gentle compassionate loving man :cool:
