tried spirulina but really didn't make much of a difference..............so wheat grass and barley grass.............which one better for detox ?
took barley grass long ago and it was good...................but got giddy becoz of detox and got scared, so stopped...............
Bottle Tree Park used to have an outlet selling fresh wheat grass which they plant directly themselves, unfortunately the park has since closed down, what a pity.
You can try NTUC, some branches may still sell wheat grass in packets of 100gm for $2.50 (may have increased in price). Only possible inconveniences:
1 You have to buy a juicer and juice it yourself. Drink it straight after juicing and you get the best results;
2. You have to bear the fresh taste of wheatgrass, but then as the saying goes, good medicine tastes bitter;
3. Your body must be able to accept the fresh wheat grass juice. Some have rare reaction of straight in, straight out.
Used to juice and take wheat grass for many years and find that it was good, helped with digestion, protection of teeth and gums as well as general health.
If you are really keen on wheat grass, some private individuals do plant and sell them. You have to ask around.
