thanks to the kuku thread that attracted debate on sg independence. it inspired me to write about something more impacting to folks on a personal level than just "mere" politics.
you see. sg, nor malaysia, nor sabah, sarawak, nor any south east asian cuntry is truly "independent" from western imperialism and colonization. fat hope. before angmos showed up in the malay and indon archipelagoes, who were in charge? the simple fact that these angmos were able to cum over and conquer these lands by "persuasion" and the power of the barrel via angmo-style "treaties" did not mean they actually "owned" the place. but the cluelessness and helplessness of sultans, chieftains, village heads and fishing folks opened up possibilities and opportunities for those old day "entrepreneurs" and imperial capitalists to seize the moment. why not?
the gullibility of the (stupid) masses and minds in south east asia persists. even after plundering resources for centuries, two world wars, some bloody riots, skirmishes, fights, and bold declarations of independence, not once but twice, sometimes thrice.
the plundering and exploitation continue with none other than oil companies (from the west of course) signing and securing deals to suck these cuntries dry and "sharing" revenue to buy-in these newfound heads of "independent" states and their willing followers and retainers. who granted them "independence" in the first place? these were suckers who believed their foreign tormentors and slave-masters were setting them free, at their own home and own land. it was like the rape victim thanking the rapist after years of kidnap and incarceration, feeling the "merdeka" moment, and telling the world how great it was to obtain the approval and grant of the master of the rape cartel.
and these folks in south east asia and sg in particular are still clueless and helpless.... today.
while being dominated, exploited (and plundered) on the energy resource front, these fools are oblivious to the media conquest. what about fashion, food and the cultural onslaught? even the basic cultural foundation of language is eroded. now the clueless are talking senseless shit about how they prefer android on their expensive mobiles and gadgets than their perceived control by apple or orange or durian.
yes, you are still a piece of colonial ass(et) mind-controlled by masters of the west. while the physical layer of land and geography is given back to you, your deeper layers of oil, gas and minerals are mined to exhaustion... while you sleep, eat, shit and discuss politics with your high nose. worse. not only is your wallet being drained for frivolous luxury from the west, your virtual layers of culture and behavior are being substituted and owned by data centers in the west which are building life data bases and analytics about you.
