In Singapore, politics is closely linked to estate’s cleanliness, catching mozzies and collecting maintenance fees. Another thing, grass-rooting for activities and tours are part of township politics one must savvy ! This is a very weird politics but under PAP for so long, people are gravitated towards this kind of mindset is already the landscape. It will take time to reform !
Workers Party has done a fine job at their wards, mind you, it is never easy to get this far. They have to suit the surrounding which is a mammoth task !
It is easy to say and done---speak up at the parliament ! Without measured understanding, you do the JBJ, you are toasted !
Majority voters expect MPs to look after the drains, the roofs, the lift, catch mozzies, run town council effectively, this is our politics.

To get into the parliament, opposition parties should learn from the workers party, this is the truth, face the truth, you will make it !
Just imagine if one oppo party proposes to WP to use its member to contest PE, if WP wins, the MP would be not WP member but WP gets to run the council. If This is not desperado, then what is it ?
And you know , other oppo parties are also criticizing WP not doing well at parliament !
We think other oppo parties should work hard, win a GRC or so, and then do the JBJ at the parliament, and we shall see what will happen not running town council well.
No wonder, the Pinky comes out of the woodwork and point to WP since 2011, not suggesting strong alternatives. This is a bullet given by oppo parties to shoot other oppo party.

But hope is not lost, one sweet lady Nicole Seah will progress with Workers Party. Nicole Seah will win Marine Parade GRC next GE if she can assemble a good team and provided no other oppo party does the desperado.
Last but not least, patience is required to beat PAP, only when parliament chairs are shared proportionally among the parties, doing the JBJ will travel !
