Was at Rivervale Mall for dessert this afternoon where I met Mdm Lim. Mdm Lim who will turn 72 next birthday is an admirable pioneer. She does not want to be dependent on anyone and has been working as a cleaner in Changi Airport for close to 20 years. During these years, she was also actively volunteering in Buddhist temples with welfare distribution.
She was telling me that I look familiar and thought that I was a volunteer she met in a Buddhist temple until I introduce myself to her. Well... I noticed that quite a number of residents don't recognize me with my short hair. We had a good 30mins chat on the light moments of our job

one thing I don’t agree with author is that Tan Cheng Bock won’t be easily manipulated by pap. He is still a pap guy. His name was thrown into the PE to dilute our votes. Since the PE, Tan Jee Say and Tan Kin Lian have both spoken against pap policies regularly. What has Tan CB done? So far, the most notable thing he had done was to complain he wasn’t invited to NDP. Complained he was uninvited to cny party coz he was looking forward to catch up with his old pap colleagues and gla loot leaders. The more he try to project pap doesn’t friend him anymore, the more suspicious it looks. Straits Times had printed stories about TanCB helping the poor, giving free medical. It would be UNTHINKABLE that LTK or WP qt large would ever write such a letter.
Both are Opposition party leaders.
LTK given decades of training at his own pace as opposition mp. TJS is plug and play. No such luxury.
