: Did you Know????

you Know????

Did you Know????

Have you ever read in the newspaper that a political

leader or a prime minister from an Islamic nation

has visited Japan ?

Have you ever come across news that the King of

Iran or a Saudi Arabia prince has visited Japan ?

Japan , a Country keeping Islam at bay.

Japan has put strict restrictions on Islam and

ALL Muslims.

The reasons are:

a) Japan is the only nation that does not give citizenship to Muslims.

b) In Japan permanent residency is not given to Muslims.

c) There is a strong ban on the propagation of Islam in Japan .

d) In the University of Japan , Arabic or any Islamic language is not taught.

e) One cannot import ‘Koran’ published in Arabic language.

f) According to data published by Japanese government,

it has given temporary residency to only 2 lakhs Muslims, who need to follow the Japanese Law of the Land.

These Muslims should speak Japanese

and carry their religious rituals in their homes.

g) Japan is the only country in the world that has a negligible number of embassies of Islamic countries.

h) Japanese people are not attracted to Islam at all.

i) Muslims residing in Japan are the employees of foreign companies.

j) Even today visas are not granted to Muslim doctors, engineers or managers sent by foreign companies.

k) In the majority of companies, it is stated in their regulations that no Muslims should apply for a job.

l) The Japanese government is of the opinion that Muslims are fundamentalist and even in the era of globalization, they are not willing to change their Muslim laws.

m) Muslims can not even think about getting a rented house in Japan .

n) If anyone comes to know that his neighbor is a Muslim then the whole neighbourhood stays alert.

o) No one can start an Islamic cell or Arabic ‘Madarsa’ in Japan

p) There is no personal (Sharia) law in Japan .

q) If a Japanese woman marries a Muslim then she is considered an outcast forever.

r) According to Mr. Komico Yagi (Head of Department,

Tokyo University ) “There is a mind frame in Japan that Islam is a very narrow minded religion and one should stay away from it.

s) Freelance journalist Mohammed Juber toured many Islamic countries after 9/11 including Japan .

He found that the Japanese were confident that extremists could do no harm in Japan .

Now you know...

If this is true, then hooray to Japan! Any other countries that have Muslims will slowly find themselves giving way to their ever demanding ways like wanting a separate Sharia court and laws for themselves, want food to be Halal, etc.

Bro , The potential number of proselytizers represented by the Muslim community in Japan is itself extremely small in proportion to the national population of more than 120 million. Students together with immigrant workers constitute a large percentage of the Muslim community, which is concentrated in major urban centers such as Hiroshima, Kyoto, Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo but altogether form a very small minority in the nation. However, some Muslim students association and local societies have organized camps and gatherings in an effort to strengthen solidarity among Muslims.

Further difficulties are faced by Muslims with respect to communication, housing, child education and the availability of halal food and Islamic literature. These constitute additional challenges to dawah (missions, evangelism) in Japan

This shows that oil and Islam can be separated even though Japan needs oil, it does not buy the religion as well.

There are an estimated 70,000 Muslims in Japan, out of which 90% are male resident foreigners coming mainly from Indonesia, Pakistan, Iran and Bangladesh, and 10% are Japanese. ( I google from japanese Internet )

Many of the Japanese Muslims are women who converted to Islam through their marriage to Muslim men.Muslims in Japan often encounter the problem of findinghalalfood products that are . Women, both foreign Muslims and Japanese Muslims, also face the issue of wearing the hijab, teachings, cultural backgrounds, etc . Though there have been several instances of harassment towards Muslims in Japan,it appears that these incidents are gradually decreasing through time.

Mosques and the Media
As mosques are the only places that are exclusively for Muslims, mosques in Japan play a vital, multi-purposed role. last time there were only two mosques in Japan, now there are around forty. As both land and construction is expensive in Japan, many office and residential buildings are converted into mosques, usually with a separate place reserved for women and children.mosques are used not only for congressional prayers, but also for social gatherings.

During Ramadan, the month of fasting, many Muslims come to the mosques in order to celebrate with their fellow Muslims. Mosques are also used to hold Islamic study sessions and weddings, with space for offices and places for relaxation. Mosques are places where Muslims can gather, worship, and socialize, though not all Muslims go to mosques. Other than information distributed by mosques and Muslim Associations, the majority of information on the Islamic world the Japanese public receives is through the mass media. After the September 11th tragedy, which killed about twenty-four Japanese citizens, the relatively indifferent Japanese perception on Islam has become tinged with fear.

Going Mainstream
Muslims in Japanese society face no particular mal- treatment, as all foreigners in Japan must deal with similar forms of discrimination especially ppl from north korea , china As it is with many societies, those who adapt to a new society's way of life are far more likely to be accepted. Japan is no exception , most Japanese people do not have a particular discriminating attitude towards Muslims. However, those who openly bring their religion to not only the public, but also their work place, may be faced with cultural barriers. Though these incidents are rare, they still present a problem for practicing Muslims. Especially in the work place, devout Muslims who pray five times a day for ten-minute intervals will find it difficult to fit into a culture in which constant hard work is expected and highly valued. Though this may be a source of discomfort for some, many Muslims have found ways to compromise by making up prayers after work that may have been missed during work hours. many Muslims have managed to adhere to both Japanese and Muslim lifestyles.

Many Japanese Muslim converts may find it difficult to conform to strong cultural expectations while simultaneously fulfilling their religious duties and rules ,.The Islamic faith prohibits the consumption of alcohol and pork which conflicts with behavioral expectation at Japanese welcoming parties or end of the year festivals. Many Muslims state that when given an explanation, their colleagues politely accept this refusal of alcohol ( jap , love to drink together after office hour .However, there are wide ranges of individual experiences regarding religious rules , some Muslims have met with understanding, others have met with criticism. Generally, it appears that these problems are becoming less severe and may eventually be obliterated all together. Jap are well travelled ppl and always intrested in other cultures especially those younger ones .

Muslims and Anime Art

Anime is an old drawing style from Japan coming from the word ‘animation’ and manga is the comics and cartoons where this style is used. The oldest animation is from 1917 and since then the tradition has gotten a large audience in Japan and outside with for example Pokémon, Only Yesterday and Jin-Roh. Anime does not by definition mean one specific style but in general one could argue that the drawings have exaggerated psycial features such as large eyes, big hair, elongated limbs combined with dramatically shaped speech bubbles and exlamatory typography influenced by Japanese calligraphy and painting but also by American cartoons. Anime and also manga are often called Japanese animation but the Japanese view it as a general name for animation.

Japanese artist a lot of time are looking for something cool and exotic . Those artists also try to promote Jamaica culture in Tokyo . Anime also features a lot of guns but weapons laws in Japan directly contrast the perception of liberal weapons use in anime . Also, let's not forget that, unlike with Islam or Judaism, Japanese culture has absorbed several traditionally Christian elements, such as certain holidays (especially Christmas) and the bride dressing in white for a wedding , in fact, church weddings amongst younger people are not that uncommon in Japan, even amongst people who aren't Christian. Of course, the Japanese businessman have customized these trappings to their own purposes .

All non Muslim nations should simply ban the religion before it's too late.

So its not true Japan bans "Islam" ?

It's not banned yet but I hope they ban it soon. In fact, secular countries should ban ALL religions as every single one has the potential to cause untold trouble.
