Bigger isn’t always better – at least that is what some in Denmark believe.

A Danish erotica website is running a contest to crown the man with the smallest penis.

The reward for the Dane with the “not-so-great Dane” is a brand new iPhone 5.

The site has invited men with registered profiles to send in images of their erections with rulers placed next to them to vouch for the smallest member, The Australian newspaper reported.

Women, who are members of the website, will also be judging the contest to see two “small” winners walk away with the big prize and, for those who come up short (second and third place), they will be taking home the iPad 3.

AFP reported that the same Danish site has run contests to find the most attractive male and female genitals.

Owner of the erotic site, Morten Fabricius, 45, said: “The smallest is the extreme. It’s a competition which is weird and funny and almost too much.”

So far, Fabricius said six to seven images have been posted on the site while others that were sent in are being vetted to ensure authenticity.

The search for the smallest penis in Denmark will run till 31 January 2013.

Perhaps the winter months will help the contestants along.
