    Drove past Meyer and saw...

Drove past Meyer Rd and saw a banner at the Park which says: "Calling all Indian Residents"

High Tea will be served...etc etc by MP Mountbatten

I am baffled..what is the MP trying to do? curry favour with the Indian FTs or what? why only Indian residents?

Btw, Meyer Rd is a little India

Drive around 5-30 in the evening and look at what's happening on the big fields - cricket matches.

Perfect. The prices there have been a little too steep.
Wherever the Indians go... prices will drop. Now i know what to tell owners who bump up their price to sell "You better sell to Indians"

Meyer Road is now over 85% inhabited by India Indians. That whole stretch of that road (from Crescent Rd to Fort Rd) can rightfully be called the India Indian Enclave of Singapore. Next Tanjong Rhu will join in. Local (Singaporean) Indians are not welcomed (due to their doubtful caste status?).
