STOMPer choon noticed that more foreigners than locals were seen in the queues of DBS and POSB ATMs at Bugis.

The STOMPer said:

"It's ironic that although DBS and POSB are local banks, majority of their users are foreigners.

"Long queues were seen at Bugis, with more than 30 to 40 people waiting.

"Around 80% were foreign workers."

Probably more Sinkies use credit card for transactions these days and there's not much need to withdraw cash.

I drive by Geylang regularly. Check the POSB branch at Lor 22. I always spot long queues of Indians in front of the ATMs even late at night.
