WHY Sinkapore have only 11 public holidays??
Sinkiland is known to top the world in all sorts of rankings, from free trade and port facilities to education. But we have only a damn 11 days of PH a year!
Japan has 17 days, HK has 18, Damn ah tiong china has 22 and even mad Iran has 30!
My friend in London call me just now and tell me Mon Tues next week PH in london cos Queen's Diamond Jubilee wor! Nabei....plus all the damn bank holidays, even london is better!

Don't you worry dude, there will be more holiday coming in future. Why ? With the integration of North Indian, Mynmar, PRC and Phinoy. There will be more declared public holiday !!

Hindus got thaipusam taken away.
Buddhist got one day also.
Xtians 2 days.
So it's Buddhist and hindus who should ask for one day more each.

1day for National Service Day - show appreciation to all Nsmen
1day add to CNY
1day add to Hari Raya
1day add to Deepavali or a major indian festival
1day add to christmas
1day add to Social Integration day
1day add to Emergency Prepareness Day
