But it says little about what the rest of Singapore thinks about the PAP. Many will read the tea leaves in Hougang to argue that the PAP hasn't won over voters despite one year of earnest efforts to change policies and its politics. But Hougang is not typical of the rest of Singapore. Voters there may be eloquent on their own behalf. But no one can claim they speak on behalf of voters from Ang Mo Kio to Yishun. Source: ST |
