think Desmond is sincere. he did not fade away after losing the last election,he continue to serve Hougang.most losers will disappear and reappear at the next election.

He is only doing it as the Chairman of the grassroot organisations. Maybe it is good to put into law that all top losing candidates in all wards be automatically appointed to the chair of grassroot organisations.

The supporters were also standing in the rain in solidarity with the WP MPs.. That's a show of Unity where the Leaders and their followers stood side by side in the heavy rain..
