Direction seems wrong. To get to the speed he was travelling, he had to have been speeding along a straight road. I suspect that if a check if made with the road cams along the straight road leading up to where the crash took place, it will be seen that he beat more than 1 red light before the crash took place.
hahaha....the Ferrari can hit 0-100km in 3 sec.......

Maybe he was racing with someone else, and that could be other cars involved. Cannot exclude that possibility also.:(

................ Good chance he was enjoying a green wave of traffic lights or he would not have built up speed to 150 to 200 km/h.

Havelock road only got that few nightclubs....

Bro, the big ones are there. The other location being Peace Centre. Unlikely a Ferrari owner would patronise KTVs in the Jln Besar, Lavendar and Jln Sultan area. Going up multi-storey carparks or parking along public roads will discourage him. My bet is Havelock or Peace Centre.

Used to see many of these cars at Middle Road when Xien Ze (HFJ) was on the ground level. But owners of these motor-vehicles were locals.

A motorist was charged in a district court on Tuesday with causing the deaths of a motorcyclist and a pedestrian by dangerous driving.

Ma Jun Jie, 24, allegedly beat the red light while driving across the signalised junction of Clementi Road and Bukit Timah Road and hit rider Daim Arsad, 63, before knocking into Madam Teo So New, 72, standing at a traffic light island.

This happened around 10.55am on March 28, 2012.

If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to five years.

Read the full story in Wednesday's edition of The Straits Times.

From what I observed, this guy appeared to be a Sinkie (judging by accent) and drove a W211 Mercedes E200. He was shaken silly by the accident and spent a good deal of time sitting in the wrecked car making phone calls and afraid to come out due to the many passers-by scolding him openly and giving him dirty looks.

Cuz I happened to be there having a ciggie when it happened.

The car ended up on the pavement and into a tree next to the shopping mall (the one with DBS and treasures, plus prestige NTUC in the basement).

Kudos to fellow Sinkies, all of us rallied and helped the poor old woman and the Malay motorcyclist, one woman doctor from the private clinic inside even came out to assist.

The fucking SCDF ambulance took a damn long time to come, about half an hour.

The two were still alive then, when they left in the ambulance.

Did not know that both had passed on.

RIP.

If driving poorly and knocking people dead were an Olympic event, the Tiongs would get a gold medal. They would dominate even more than in badminton, table tennis, gymnastics or diving. No contest.
