Can someone explain to me how come a silly arty farty thread like " ode to the seaman's son..." can attract so many posts, and quality ones to boot......

I am pleasantly surprised that there are so many poets in this kow-pay kow-bu website. Can't say the same for the rest - sgForums, fuckwarezone, or even 3 in 1 kopitiam

I salute all who had posted.......

Would you all like to reveal more about who you are and how come you are so deep into poetry?

Their legacies lived on till this day,
Glorifies a few humble words if one may,

This i once did to impress a maiden,
Who is unfortunately not with me and taken,
