i have a homemade "carnivorous" pizza recipe that will shock you. 16" dough topped with ground beef, italian sausage, panchetta, strips of tri tip, chunks of chuck, spicy chorizo, ham, pastrami, corned beef, salami, pepperoni, crunchy bacon and 4 kinds of shredded cheese (mozarella, cheddar, monterey jack, blue cheese). it's 2 inches thick and looks like a meat pie. will shorten the life of anyone.

No need they look after la like PAP always look after while robbing sinkies, sigh. By the way I had 3 slices and madam 2. The rest bring back, love cold pizza especially from the fridge, so eat it tomorrow for breakfast.

Hehehe. If you microwave the overnight pizza, it become very hard. Somehow, if eaten cold, it is still quite tender.

One thing about Sin City or probably BKK is that, the first weekend of the month end is the unofficial family shopping day at the supermarkets. Everywhere is over crowded, eg. supermarkets, car wash, car workshops, restaurants and even roadside stall. Was stuck in a jam for 20 mins but I am only about a kilometer to my destination. Journey will normally take me 5 mins.

Hehehe. Can see fireworks at beach road from my apartment. It's a tradition for Big/Medium hotels in Sin City to display fireworks when they get a 100% occupancy.

Very common during high season (Nov-January) but got to see it a few times today. Will post pics when I am back from dinner.

Pai Seh, Saw the fireworks and it's beautiful. My crappy iphone just cannot take nice night scenes.

All these taken at my apartment carpark.

microwave will not do justice to pizza. need a convection oven. outdoor brick oven will be perfect.
Thanks. Yes, I love the traditional charcoal smell pizza. Unfortunately, I am still staying in an apartment so no fanciful stuff in the garden allowed unless I want to invite the entire apartment. :p

OK, think this is last post for the evening. While on my way back, saw this new notice at the ground floor lift. It's says "Staff not allowed to take lifts. If caught, a warning paper will be issued."

Pai Seh, need to consult the resident Kopi expert who has MIA for last few days laew.

Question is how do I store an opened coffee powder? Put it in a dry container or put in the freezer? One tip I got was to stored it in the freezer and take out 1 hour before brewing. Is this correct?

my advice. don't grind beans until you need to brew. if you have leftover ground coffee, store in airtight container in a low humidity or dry place. use it up within days in your climate. in california we can store for a week.

Because I love to cook 3 things I will do when I build my new house, install a huge naan-oven (the barrel type) which I can use for tandoori and even gai-yang and a small stone oven for pizza and bread. This is my dream.

yaaa where the hell is KYP these days, kenna short-circuit by Taimei I think.
