A friend just told me they also interested to look for future retirement home in JB. Good to have more and more company.

    Hi Narmi,

In the end, was resolved as it turned out to be ok as there was some miscommunication.

Today was a good day, a good closure to a pretty bad couple of weeks. As i am still working through the cold of the night, my heart feels very warm. I am very glad and honoured to have good friends with me. People who called and offer assistance and company. People who tried to help in an unmarked envelope. Thank you so much, very grateful and very honoured.

Helped someone today on some legal matters this week regarding wrongful dismissal, unpaid wages as well as referred her to talk to CPF for the unpaid contribution.

Not a legal expert in any sense, just giving my 2cents worth and to have another pair of eyes on the case.

In the end, based on some of what i said coincidentally worked for the case, its turning out well and in her favour. Specific performance was enforced and judgement given. A sigh of relief.

She is now hesitant on whether to move ahead with the follow up suit against her ex employers, i told her to go ahead regardless as she has a very strong case and the wilful acts her ex employers did was very damaging to her.

    Some words to share.

    Money:
Think of it this way, monopoly as a game, everyone knows but its only useful in the game.

What if you leave the game halfway? Whatever you have is useless to you since the money
in monopoly is useless elsewhere and has no value.

    Being happy:
In the end, only kindness matters but remember, as with the start of all things,
success, kindness and generiosity begins at home.

Sharing each of these leads to happiness in the end.

    Parents:
If you can't be good to those you can see and feel, who cared for and nurtured you, who else
can you be good to? What else are you good for?

    Status
You are what you think you are, nothing more, nothing less. If you cannot change the world,
change yourself. Once you change yourself, the world you used to view or perceive would have
    changed too.

    Good deeds
There has to be someone who will do it, thankless task or not. Doing it and not expecting anything
in return gives one an undaunted heart. Do it without knowing and continue to do what you can to
    help others.

Got this info from a blogger's site.

We lucked onto a really nice young guy from a very decent company who will move household stuff at a very reasonable cost from Singapore to your doorstep. Having checked with many others, I am sure their rates cannot be topped.

There are many considerations you may not know about: customs rules and regulations, complicated paperwork, the many counters and approvals required, timing at the causeways, reliable workers (a BIG consideration) and their working hours, and their break times … all sorts.

This company has wide experience and is very pleasant to deal with as well.

NOTE: You must specify if you need the stuff unloaded and placed in your house.
