For me, this will be my weekend/holiday home. May move in for retirement when I quite my job. JB is a nice place to retire. Pace is slower and more relaxing.

10% x 20% is for the delay to the completion of the common facilities

Total Compensation = [10% x Purchase Price x 90/365] + [10% x 20% x purchase price x 90/365]

Developer has calculated the compensation amount, from SPA till the date they issued the vacant possession letter to me (total 90 days of compensation in my case). Cheque not ready yet though but I have requested that they bank in for me once it is ready.

Keys collected Observations: 1) Quality is good. I don't see any major defects in my unit at first glance. Only not quite satisfied with the main door with lot of scratch marks and common bathroom toilet bowl that is badly stained. Will do a more thorough check next week. 2) Electricity at...

I received the snail mail on 6 March. The letter was dated 2 March. Probably they are giving the keys in stages. Going to collect the keys only tomorrow. Update here soon.

Can take vacant possession already :) Collecting keys ;)

Hmm, couldn't find the clause to pay the interest after 48 months since SPA. May I know where is this clause? I will write to the developer to confirm the above too. Sigh.... are we being 'punished' for their delay?

It will be calculated based on 10% of purchased price per annum, on a daily basis. As for DIBS, good question. May need to ask the bank or developer on this.

Bora Residences: Progress as of 23 Sep 2017 Looks like the project will only TOP in Q1 2018. First batch of buyers will most like get some compensation for the delay.
