Man treats MRT train like home and sits on floor


STOMPer John Goh was shocked when he saw this man sitting on the MRT train floor yesterday (Sept 1) during peak hours.

In an email to STOMP today (Sept 2), the STOMPer says:

“I was travelling on the train at 8.00 am during peak hour yesterday and I could not believe it when I saw this man sitting on the floor next to the MRT door.

“He insisted on sitting on the floor even when the train was jam packed.”

Selfish woman props feet up on seat while her friend pretends to sleep


A disgusted STOMPer saw this inconsiderate woman propping her bare feet up comfortably, hence taking up 2 seats on a bus even though there were other passengers standing.

EJacq told STOMP via email today (Aug 31):

"I was on bus 950 on Saturday evening (Aug 29), on the way back to Singapore.

"The bus wasn't very crowded, but me and my friends were standing.

"There was this woman, who conveniently took up two seats.

"Her friend saw me taking this photo of her, but pretended to sleep.

"Upon hearing their conversation, I concluded that they are non-locals.

"Now, where did she pick this habit from?"

Inconsiderate man places backpack on seat and ignores other passengers


A STOMPer saw this selfish man who took up two seats for himself and his backpack despite the fact that other bus passengers needed a seat.


The STOMPer says:

"This man refused to give up the seat beside him to other commuters.

"He knew someone needed the seat, but he just put the bag on the seat beside him.

"He knew I was looking at him, but he pretended that he didn't see me."
