Foreigner can own a "Bumi release lot".
Means if Bumi reserve lot not sold within a certain period they can applied by developer to seek state approved to treat as Bumi release lot.
You can get a approved letter from your lawyer to prove the property has approved...

Oic, your is sub-sale. You better push your lawyer to follow up with the state approval. By 1 May if still not approved, then bye bye to your purchase.
But if you buy from developer then you are not affected by the timeline.

Why cannot renew ? What new regulation ? the new rule not even regulated and confirmed. Only clearer picture and confirmation on 1st May 2014. If cannot renew means you cannot own the property you just bought after 1st May 2014 ?
