I think to Malaysia government, this is not something critical or urgent. The jam happen for decades already. Those who want to work in Singapore will still embrace the jam.

FYI, some banks impose a cap now. Eg the excess payment amount up to only 70% of outstanding can be offset interest. So pay more than 70% no use.

My suggestion is you just have to try it on the different time slots, and you will know. On the maid, talk to those agent and they will find a way. Hope you have a enjoyable stay.

But looking at no action from JB side, even if it is a go, the earliest RTS readiness will be maybe 2021, definitely not 2018 as they claimed.

Hi, how's the house so far?

I can read both Chinese and Malay :) but the reports did not mention about aborting the SG-JB RTS project. I know SG side has commenced some engineering study. But Malaysia seems to quiet. It does look like they have no internet or will to do the project though no official words seen so far.

Singapore economy slow now, and RTS still no sight.

I think one reason is residential buyers are more leveraged. For commercial, banks don't give as high loan.

Worst is JB condo is different fr Sg condo. When occupancy is low, you can't even dare to stay there. Your neighbors unit may be rented to foreign workers or even broken in. This was what happened in last crisis. Today there are still such condos around.
